30 Days of Torchwood: Days Fifteen, Sixteen, and Seventeen

Apparently I dreamed updating this over the weekend. In my defense, much of that time was spent:

- recovering from a Scissor Sisters show
- gardening
- engaging in vermiculture
- having a terrifying sinus headache
- participating in the tw_gleeclub's Torchwood rewatch

You're all hereby entitled to prod me tomorrow if you don't see a post by 6 PM GMT.

30 Days of Torchwood: Day Fifteen - a behind the scenes video that made you laugh the most

This is actually relatively easy to answer, but only if I differentiate between an outtake and behind-the-scenes. If I allowed outtakes, I'd have to consider Tom Price "Captain Andy" ad-lib from "Adrift," and then I'd have to whine and flail about how the person who designed this thing is a terrible bastard who enjoys torturing me with dilemmas.

As it stands, though, I'm able to go traditional:

Presumably you don't mean my favorite outfit out of my own wardrobe. That would be more than a little ridiculous.

Also, you probably don't want me to hold forth about which outfits most like looking at while they're on the cast. Because, wow, you do not want to read me going on about Ianto's magical S3 trousers, Toshiko's top in Adam or every pair of jeans Gwen Cooper owns. Or Jack's lack of outfit at the beginning of Small Worlds and when they drop him off the cliff in Children of Earth. In fact, I've probably just written enough that you can imagine along at home. Er.

Instead, I confess that I covet Owen's purple shirt like burning. I have had a weird thing about it since "Greeks Bearing Gifts" aired. I cannot account for why, because my affection for it is irrational in the extreme, but there you go. As you can see, my irrational urge to steal his t-shirt makes him terribly grumpy:



I'd be grumpy if somebody wanted to steal my clothes, too.





30 Days of Torchwood: Day Seventeen - Your favourite Gwen moment

The moment where she tries to explain contemporary sexuality to Emma and fails utterly. It's delightful in that sort of squirmy, "this conversation has gone terribly wrong" sort of way, and Eve Myles' expressions are just spot-on amazing.

EMMA: So ... how many men have you done it with?

GWEN: A few.

EMMA: Oh. Were you in love with all of them?

GWEN: No. Sex can just be about having a good time together. If you're in the right
mood, with the right guy, it's the best, no big deal.

EMMA: So if I meet a boy and we get on, and he wants sex, then you think I should
let him?

GWEN: No, no, that's not what I said.

EMMA: What are you saying?

GWEN: Sex ... is nothing to be ashamed of.
