...are actually entirely accurate. It's only the result of a space/time paradox, some thrilling heroics, and generous application of booze and duct tape (don't ask) that I have returned, more or less whole.

I've been nominated for Round Three of the Children of Time awards for my Gwen genderfuck story, "One Calamity." Voting is open until...ah...June first? I should have reported this sooner, but again with the giant Earth-destroying disasters and being dead business. If you're interested, I recommend checking out the nominees and casting a vote.

"One Calamity" also got the nod fromwicked_awards, which is an open nomination, closed judging awards community. Winners should be announced in mid- to late June.
Conventiony Goodness
If you're likely to be in Minneapolis at the very end of July, I plan to attend and panelize (and possibly workshop-er-ize) at Writercon. More details to come as the schedule is announced, obviously. And yes, I'm going to the cocktail party, so if you've ever wanted to see me disgrace myself on the booze, here's an opportunity.
Also, barring disaster, I plan to be at Dragon*Con again, more or less in a 'fucking about and climbing on things' capacity. Oh, and to fanboy at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
rm, who will be a proper guest. I wholly anticipate more booze and disgrace here as well, to say nothing of playing dress-up with stray_heart and exfatalist, and having a nice cwtch with resourceress. And yes, I'm already stockpiling sangria in a nefarious plan to get someone who 'does not dance' to dance. Oh, and planning clever ways to hide from thaddeusfavour lest she smack me for being inactive over at TWH.
Writing Status
While I was off being dead, my routine/workspace got disrupted pretty brutally. This is all in development, and should be resolved reasonably soon, but in the interim I've been concentrating on 'filling the well' as it were more than actual writing. April & May are also really intense in my day job life, so the disruption hit a little harder than anticipated.
Charity fics are still in progress, some original fic is in the works, and I am the Least Punctual Beta in History (askpocketmouse, antelope_writes, and cyus).
